Art is our one true global language. It knows no nation, it favors no race, and it acknowledges no class. It speaks to our need to reveal, heal, and transform. It transcends our ordinary lives and lets us imagine what is possible. – Richard Kamler

Our 7th annual Art Break Day is THIS FRIDAY!

This year we have 48 sites!

On September 1, 2017 ~ We are All Making Art with the World!

Folks will be simultaneously creating in Arizona, California (20 sites!), Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina (2 sites!), North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon (2 sites!), Pennsylvania, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming, India, (4 sites!), Malaysia (2 sites!) and Mexico (5 sites!)

This year we welcomed 12 NEW Art Break Day locations. We have our very first Art Bus and our first elementary school joining us this year. This global art movement keeps growing and expanding and we are so excited to say “hello” and “thank you” to those folks who are joining our crew and offering art to their community. We can’t wait for you to experience the power of Art Break Day.

There are so many different ways to Take an Art Break. We love watching how each location dives into their own event, embraces the community’s need for art, and just goes for it. Art Break Day has transformed into a beautiful tapestry of creativity and diversity.
